Nintendo, through the Hacker One program, will reward you if you’re successful in uncovering exploits and vulnerabilities for Nintendo Switch hardware and software. The program is already in operation for the 3DS and Wii U (and has been since last December) but now Nintendo have extended the reward scheme for their latest home console.
Below are examples of vulnerabilities that Nintendo is interested in receiving information about:
- System vulnerabilities regarding Nintendo Switch
- Privilege escalation from userland
- Kernel takeover
- ARM® TrustZone® takeover
- Vulnerabilities regarding Nintendo-published applications for Nintendo Switch
- Userland takeover
- System vulnerabilities regarding the Nintendo 3DS family of systems
- Privilege escalation on ARM® ARM11™ userland
- ARM11 kernel takeover
- ARM® ARM9™ userland takeover
- ARM9 kernel takeover
- Vulnerabilities regarding Nintendo-published applications for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems
- ARM11 userland takeover that doesn’t require other hacks or tools (“secondary” exploits would be those that require other hacks or tools to be effective; those would be out of scope for this program)
- Hardware vulnerabilities regarding either the Nintendo Switch system or the Nintendo 3DS™ family of systems
- Low-cost cloning
- Security key detection via information leaks
Cash incentives start at $100 but the bigger the exploit, the bigger the reward with reports indicating that funds can increase up to $20,000.

What’s gonna stop other hackers from reporting it.
Nintendo requires a replicable step-by-step that involves code. Unless the other hacker group developed their own exploit, only the reporter has the actual code necessary for a verifiable report

How about an update for infinite durability, infinite stamina, and not being kicked around like a ragdoll (pretty much everything gameranx addressed with BotW). Then there would be no need. And while we’re at it,

I know people also want Gamecube games, but that’s more likely to come. Besides, Nintendont has that area covered.
You lose credibility pretty quickly if you’re asking for infinite durability in BotW. It’s a core mechanic for good reason, much of the game would be trivial with infinite stamina.
I don’t play Zelda games for credibility on My Nintendo News.
