  1. i swear to god nintendo has the worst fucking patch notes EVER!!!

same shit with smash bros, we had no fucking clue what changed, and the community had to work together to catalog buffs & nerfs for EACH character!!!

    1. That was cool, though. I mean, I wasn’t the one doing the hard stuff, but it was hype to keep your eyes on Smashboards looking for other people’s findings and discoveries….

      1. yeah, i mean it did foster the smash community, but there’s no denying that a boatload of work could have been avoided had nintendo simply told us what they tweaked!

    2. why would the average joe GIVE A F^&K what difference does it make

its a patch it improves shit GET OVER YOUR SELF enough with the im core i understand code bs

      1. GOOD FOR YOU, but why bother releasing patch notes at all if it’s always the same fucking one-liner “INCREASED STABILITY” bullshit? Other devs have no problem with patch notes, look at Blizzard’s patch notes for Starcraft 2 and Diablo III for example, heck look at SUPER MARIO RUN and FE:Heroes for the app store, each update has a detailed list of what the fuck changed, instead of the usual SUCH STABLE, MUCH STABILITY BULL-SHIT

  2. My Zelda game (on Switch) ran perfectly smooth from day one. For one thing, I NEVER notice things like “frame rate issues” like others always do. Every time someone complains about frame rate drops, I can’t figure out what they’re talking about.

    1. The frame rate issues do exist, its just when like a big explosion happens or something, plus other frame rate drops from time to time. Its minor, but its there.

    2. Kokoro village.
Even after the previous patch the performance drop there was well noticeable, and I don’t notice frame rate drops that easily.

    3. Though in ‘that forest’ I saw heavy frame drops after patched (visiting it first time). Otherwise the game ran very well, even unpatched.

    4. I can ensure you it didn’t run smooth but you just not be as sensitive to framedrops as others. Unless you got some superior Switch to everyone elses. Which I really hope for you as it would be damn cool. But it’s more likely that you just don’t see such a difference. Which as I said is totally OK. Maybe you also happen to play more in handheld mode where the game has always been way smoother.
In TV mode pretty much in every wood with a lot of grass and maybe 1-3 NPCs the framerate would remarkably drop down in a very Nintendo-64-way. The same thing wouldn’t have happened in Handheld-mode though, at least not that noticeable.

Anyways, ever since they fixed it, it really does run smooth as hell on both handheld and tv-mode for me, so I don’t believe this whole thing should still be an issue.

You deserve a like if that’s sarcasm, RidleySlayer.

Yeah. I guess it is kind of funny. It’s sad, but a little funny, they actually believe no one cares about patch notes.

XD I’m partial to Paya & Riju. *Spoiler if you haven’t been to Hateno. You were warned.* I’d be partial to Purah, too, if she had stopped at the ripe age of 18 instead of being a bloody 5 year old for the entire game!

      1. Riju is a sexy little thing, although I’m not sure how old she is either.. I’d like to think she’s 18.. But yea Purah is a little young looking lol. Even if she is 100 years old

        1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits. This use to be something that awaited those for all consoles. It's sad it's mostly just a PS4 slogan these days. Maybe Nintendo will get back to that greatness with the Switch. Only time will tell.}

As long she’s at least 16, I’m good. Besides, nothing wrong with being attracted to 15 yr olds & up as it’s only natural. Unless they tell you their age, you’ll never actually know they were underage. (Shame some states don’t let that be a viable defense for people that honestly didn’t know. I guess it’s more of a law to deter people from having sex with people they don’t know than it is to actually protect some teenager’s virtue. *shrug* But that’s a subject for another time.) More importantly, as long as you don’t touch, you can look all you want. But since Riju isn’t real, all we can do IS look. lol

I don’t care how well Van Helsing did! I FUCKING LOVE THIS FUCKING MOVIE!!! D:<

That spoiler is for the benefit of others, not you, Deepsouth, since I’m pretty sure you already reached that point.

      1. Oh yea, I’ve logged 135 hours so far. I haven’t done the Rito’s quest line yet. I’m saving it until I get almost all the side quests and shrines up until that point done. I plan on 100% the game, although I’ll probably take a break at the 200 hour mark… I’ll play through Persona 5 and after that I’ll come back and put another 209 hours in BotW… lol

*grumbles* It’d be nice to know what exactly was changed in my game. I HATE it when Nintendo is being so fucking secretive for shit that honestly doesn’t need to be kept secret! What? Is it some retarded, vain attempt to keep hackers from realizing what’s fixed so they don’t go straight to getting past the fix? Trust me. Hackers already know what’s fixed the moment they go to use it to get past whatever they want to get past, Nintendo. You aren’t hiding SHIT from those people so give it up. Least I can rely on my games on PS4 to tell me what’s been changed if it’s anything major.
