One small gripe many fans had with the original Mario Kart 8 was the restrictive online lobby. In order to change your character or kart, players would have to exit the lobby and reconnect. This was certainly frustrating, particularly when playing with friends. However, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe seems to fix this issue. Pointed out by Andre Segers, Nintendo now allows changes in the lobby. Check out a picture below.

Sweet. No more having to back out and frantically choose a new kart/character in hopes of being able to rejoin your friends’ game!

yes, but it also let’s you add any of your friends from miitomo and mario run. I’ve also heard that there will be an update in the future that will let you add your facebook and twitter friends as well.

I wasn’t so I’m happy. I can just jump in and continue playing with Dry Bowser and my favorite Kart combo.
