Japan: Nintendo Switch Sells 45K And Nintendo 3DS Sells 23K

It is Wednesday which means its time to see how the various software and hardware performed in Japan last week. Monster Hunter Double Cross remains the best-selling software followed by the epic The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch. With regards to hardware it was the Switch which came out on top even though reports state that the console is still suffering supply constraints. Here’s the best-sellers this week.

  1. Another strong week for the best console on the market: The Nintendo 3DS.

    In all seriousness, it’s great to see the Switch doing so well.

    1. Well I would have agreed with you two years ago in the 3ds’s prime. But now not only would I put the Switch above it, I would put the PS4 as well. So third best console would be more accurate.

    1. Would be hard for Mario Kart to obliterate anything if they don’t have enough Switches available to sell with it. It’ll definitely sell well though.

  2. I think it’s funny that when Mario Kart 8 released places like polygon and numerous other media sites claimed it would be the lowest selling Mario Kart of all time. Now in all honesty it has the potential to be the highest selling Mario Kart of all time..

  3. Funny when Wii U sales were a miss, by 5pm the commets was 100 or more. But when Switch sales sore, the day is almost over with and less than 20 comments and we know damn well sells post of consoles are the most commented.
