Mario Kart Themed Shopping Carts Appear In Target Stores

To celebrate the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo have teamed up with Target to bring Mario Kart themed shopping carts to their stores. These look pretty awesome, but we’re wondering how many people will get in trouble for racing around the store. Check out Target’s press release below.

Wa-hoo! Mario Kart 8 for Nintendo Switch launches April 28, and we’re juuuust a little excited. While our fave mustachioed plumbers gear up, we’re over here dodging banana peels and flying turtle shells, and racing red carts up and down the aisles to bring you some extra-special fun—only at Target. Starting today, 650+ stores across the country are going into full game-on mode, with larger-than-life Mario action.

  1. Shit got real now! Nintendo really it’s not messing around with their marketing anymore…they are hungry to sell you Mario kart 8 deluxe and a Nintendo Switch!

*sigh* If only you did that with the Wii U things would’ve been different.

  2. Very stupid idea. Now all the Mario Kart fans are going to crash their shopping karts into others. There will be no safe zones. It’s gonna be a warzone. All shoppers will now have a Target on their backs.
