    ||Fascinating, first time in a very long time a weapon made me go from 0% interested to at least 50% at my current state after watching this video…||

  2. Green Hill Zone? Again? Can the developers not think of any other opening level besides Green Hill Zone, lol. One of the things I hate is when a series cannot innovate and just reuses the same ideas over and over.

    1. Your looking too much into the name. Green Hill zone is just a staple of the series. It’s always been the first level in Sonic. It’s like complaining Mario is always in the mushroom kingdom. They give the same name but that doesn’t mean it’s always the same stage.

      1. I have complained about the 2d Mario’s doing the same thing too. But as far as the 3d Mario’s go, they have all been unique.

Maybe your right, but that doesn’t change the fact that I just cannot get excited about playing through Green Hill Zone again.

  3. Looks promising. I think Sonic blended in with 2d and 3d environments is the best way to go like in Sonic colors. That was just pure fun imo. Although I wish we could get another Sonic adventure Im not opposed to this either looks good imo

  4. I know it’s still a ways off from release, but I hope they fix how his momentum seems to be interrupted so easily. Looks like every action he performs slows him down drastically.

Also I’m not a fan of the song at all.
Still yet to be impressed by this game, but I have faith in Sonic Team.

  5. Is anyone here looking forward to this game? If so, can you tell me why? I really want to like Sonic, but I’ve tried so many times to get into the series and just can’t. Sonic Adventure 2 is the only game in the series I truly enjoyed, and the only one I was interested in enough to finish. Even the classics don’t appeal to me.

      ||The Sonic weapon, especially this original style will be liked by those of us ancient ones that started with the very first real Sonic weapon, Sonic The Hedgehog…||

      ||Everything after Sonic and Knuckles was nothing of interest to purists, mainly because of the Chao nonsense that tried to leech off Pokemon…||

        1. The First Order Commander is not human. He’s a futuristic being and has come back in time to prevent humanity from falling to the advances of the Xbots.

The time of reckoning is near. Join the Order!!!

          ||What you really should ask yourself is…||

          ||Why am I still a primitive monkey?…||

              ||Of course you monkeys would try to say words bigger than your entire existence, you were meant to die out and you will…||

      1. Apparently I don’t like either though lol. Sonic Adventure 2 was my first. I grew up with Nintendo consoles. Never owned a Sega system, so I didn’t get a chance to play a Sonic game until the GC. I liked it so much though that I figured I would like the rest of the series. That’s what happened when I finally got into Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Fire Emblem, and pretty much every classic series I’m interested in now. It just didn’t happen with Sonic though, and it’s the only classic game series that it hasn’t happened with. Neither the classics, now the modern games appeal to me.

          ||Possibly because about 90% of our weaponry is better than anything the Segans ever created and so probably feel inferior or uninteresting for you…||

  6. We’re breaking tradition with our new Sonic game, we swear. Look! The hackneyed Green Hill level is now in a desert!

  7. I know you cannot “truly” tell from this clip, but based on the way that Sonic appears to be moving and also by the way that the environment moves so quickly, I have fears that Sonic may be hard to control. He seems to have clunky movements. Sonic games need to have super precise controls so platforming navigation feels smooth. At the speed that Sonic travels and with the added effect of clunky controls, we could end up with the SAAAAME exact problems we have in every other Sonic game, which is terrible platforming which leads to a frustrating experience.

However, the way a game “feels” can only truly be measured when you actually play it. I am just going off of what I can see here. Hopefully this is not the case.
