Rhythm Violence Game ‘Thumper’ Speeding On To Nintendo Switch May 18

Coming straight from the developer, Thumper will be available on Nintendo Switch very soon – May 18, to be exact.

Thumper, the acclaimed rhythm violence game, launched on PS4/PC in late 2016. Today, we’re excited to announce Thumper will be available for Nintendo Switch on May 18th.

A few important notes about Thumper on Switch:
Full HD Rumble support — Rumble Violence!
Handheld mode runs in 720p and 60 frames-per-second
TV mode supports 1080p and 60 frames-per-second

Thumper is developed by Drool, the team of Marc Flury and Brian Gibson.

They had me at ‘Rumble Violence’… Anyway, here’s a video to check the game out in action:

  1. Thumper is such an amazing game. I’m considering buying it again, so that I can experience it with HD rumble.

    1. what exactly is it about? I can’t really figure it out from the video but keep hearing good things. For 20 bucks it’s priced quite high and I can get … I believe Fast Racing Neo RMX does come at about that price. So if it’s more like a nice visual demo it would be too expensive.

      1. It’s really hard to explain, honestly. It’s a trippy hardcore rhythm game. The game starts off really simple, but after every level, the game introduces a new mechanic, and by the time you’re at the last level, there’s so much going on and it’s crazy chaotic. Every action you do feels really satisfying to pull off because of the amount of physical and visual feedback you get (which is why I think hd rumble would be great). It’s a lot of fun, and it’s insanely difficult.

I’d recommend watching some gameplay videos on it to get a better idea of what I’m talking about.
