Another big title for the Nintendo 3DS and the recently announced New Nintendo 2DS XL is the desert themed adventure, Ever Oasis. IGN recently had an opportunity to go hands-on with the game and solve a side quest in eight minutes. As you can see from the video embedded below the game looks visually a lot like the excellent Fantasy Life but the gameplay is more akin to The Legend of Zelda series. Ever Oasis launches exclusively for Nintendo 3DS by Grezzo on June 23rd.

Fantasy Life kind of killed this kind of RPG for me actually. Stardew Valley was the only thing that kept me from shrugging off the genre completely
Fantasy Life is literally the best game I have played on the 3DS. I must have close to 200 hours on that game (including the DLC).
Wow, looks really cheap. I don’t understand all the fuss about this game. Yes artworks looked cool but it does seem a very bland RPG with snakes as enemies. Well, I suppose not everyone needs a Suikoden II.
This is partially why the abandonment of the 3DS couldn’t come soon enough, in my opinion. I’m so tired of the 3DS chibi look.
