The Super Nintendo PlayStation is one of the most interesting stories in gaming history. Before their eventual fallout, Nintendo and Sony originally teamed up to make a CD-ROM version of the Super Nintendo. While the system never came to be, a few non-functional prototypes have appeared over the years. However, Ben Heck has just uploaded a video showing that he has actually got the system working. Heck is a famous hardware hacker, so it’s no surprise he managed to tackle this task, Check out the video below.

In an alternate universe somewhere, the Nintendo PlayStation was a huge success, leading to the merger of the two companies. Nintendo-Sony Entertainment now has a monopoly on the gaming industry, and with the successful launch of their new console, the PlayStation Switch, the company isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Can anyone topple this gaming giant? Only time will tell.
Did you just reference Game Dev Tycoon? Cool! :D
Yay for alternate realities where Nintendo got better instead of worse!
…hopefully the Switch is a turn around & Nintendo starts getting better again…….
