Nintendo’s latest console has had a great few months since its launch back in March. The Switch’s incredibly promising sales aren’t just good news for Nintendo, but also for those who produce components for the console. A RBC Capital Markets analyst has suggested that Nvidia could see a $400 million rise in profits in 2018 due to their involvement with the Switch. This is great news for Nvidia, their relationship with Nintendo seemingly paying off.
RBC Capital Markets analyst Mitch Steves predicts Nvidia’s top line may see a boost of $300 million-$400 million in fiscal 2018 just from sales of the Nintendo Switch, which is powered by Nvdia technology. That’s because the game maker Nintendo (NTDOY) will reportedly double production of its brisk-selling Switch console this year from 8 million units to 16 million.
Looks like there development really pay off. At least Nintendo is doing something good for the company.

Did the math for you guys, Nvidia obtains around $19-25 per console (assuming the anaylsis is correct with there math)
Eventually they will be happy to pursue this path with the Nintendo Switch 2 (6 years from now).
