Modder, CorBond87, has gone through the trouble to add the beloved super-fast hedgehog into the Wii U version of Mario Kart 8. Swapping the shape of Mario, Sonic seems to be a perfect fit with animations running smoothly. Metal Mario noises are still apparent but it’s still pretty cool (albeit odd) to see. It’s a work-in-progress so it’ll be interesting to see what other inclusions the modder comes up with in the future.

I’ve always felt that the Mario Kart series AND the Mario Party series should have an all-star cast. The Mario Party games never have enough characters to choose from in my opinion.

Now I really want Sonic in Mario Kart.
Of course the guy would put him in the vehicle most closely resembling Sonic’s car from All Stars/Transformed. This is honestly pretty cool.
