It is Monday which means it is time to see how the various software releases have performed in the United Kingdom. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe had a good run for two weeks at number one but it has sadly slipped this week to third. The karting title was beaten by Prey and Grand Theft Auto V – which appears to still be going strong on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We have got Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia launching this Friday, so it will be interesting to see how that performs. Here’s the best-sellers.
- Prey
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- FIFA 17
- Rocket League
- Lego Worlds
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Ghost Recon Wildlands
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I undestand Prey… It’s a new game. But GTAV still charting??? WTF?!
I know right? Isn’t that game like….around 4 years old or something? I’m surprised it’s still in the top charts, I guess it’s still fun for the people who want to play online with others.
The real question isn’t whether it’s still fun, but who’s left to buy new copies. You’d think, four years on, that anyone who wanted the game would have gotter it by now.
Kids that weren’t “old enough” at the time and people are still buying PS4s and that so that’d be one of the better games to get I imagine.

I got Prey, GTAV, Horizon: Zero Dawn, & LoZ: BotW so I’m glad to see these games in the top 10.
