The Nintendo Switch has been getting firmware updates every once in a while, and the trend has continued with a new update that has been released by Nintendo. The Nintendo Switch’s firmware is now at version 2.3.0. However, the update does not contain anything major. In fact, the only thing Nintendo lists in the update’s patch notes are “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”. The update can be downloaded automatically or launched in the system’s settings, depending on your preference.
STABLE AS FUCK
It’s got a long way to go to catch up with the 3DS though!
MUCH STABLE
SUCH STABILITY
Yeah pretty much.
Perhaps one day we’ll see stability rivaling that of the 3DS.
Nothing will stable Wii U’s stability! 😂
Oh dear…updates again..
Why are you on here again Sweet cheeks?
Since update how do you turn off choose user when loading up game again
Stop being foolish people. These are patches to prevent hackers from modding the system.
Yes this patches worked very good on wii u also..i am feeling so secured right now..
Can’t stop the Wii u from being hacked. Mine is hacked and I use a program to download all my games. I sold all my Wii u games and downloaded them all for play on a hdd. I feel secure as well.
I’m so secure on my Wii U that I have all my games downloaded on my HDD. The Switch is just pending a big hack and they carts will be in the wild again
we all know that updates are to prevent hacking and softmodding but we like to make fun of how stable updates get like with the 3ds.
Maybe that could work easily.
Only Nintendo and they’re weak systems with no security. PS 4 actually stopped putting out these kinds of updates and forcing people to do these stupid updates. P3: all the fucking time
Anyone else’s Switch interfering with their tv? Whenever I play another console the screen goes black or grey every now and then. I have to unplug the Switch’s hdmi for it to stop.
known issue if you are using a samsung 2016 TV, HDMI switching is a feature and can’t be turned off. Massive thread over at the samsung forums about it. I have issues with other devices, but the switch seems to affect it worse.
Hmm that sucks. My TV is an LG 2014. I hope they fix it, defeats the whole ease of docking it thing.
LG 2014 uses the same feature, it was meant to emulate CEC for devices without CEC and would be up to LG to fix. But since its such an old tv (in their opinion) they wont even acknowledge it exists or upload new firmware to fix it.
Why
Sometimes when Im watching Kodi in Firestick, my LG TV will display HMDI 1 where the Switch is connected. Then it will go off then come back a half hour later or hour later.
Total pain. Turning cec off or the match TV power state on switch doesn’t work either. Not sure how any of these manufactures think this is a good “feature”.
Sounds easy enough. I already got the update.
Gonna have to get some horses because this console is getting too damn STABLE
It got more stable the longer I played zelda.
An update a day keeps the pirates at bay.

This thing is as stable as The Commander’s voice…
Strong and stable firmware.
But will it un-warp my bent Switch console?!
A curved screen was not part of the deal! :P
Don’t sit on your consoles Kids!
Yes. Another “stability” update.
