Perhaps the biggest announcement to come out of today’s ARMS Nintendo Direct wasn’t even related to ARMS. This is because, at the end of the Direct, Nintendo included a brand new trailer for Splatoon 2 that gives us our first look at the game’s single-player mode. It also seems like the Squid Sisters will play a more significant role in Splatoon 2’s story mode than they did in Splatoon 1. Oh I certainly hope so! I mean well, Nintendo did this heroic character turns temporarily evil before. Luigi in Super Paper Mario ring a bell? He became Mr. L, then was beaten twice before being returned to normal. Though, I’m predicting Callie will be fought at least 4 times before being freed from her mind control. If she is indeed brainwashed that is.

Splatoon 2 is looking fantastic. I love the twist with the Squid Sisters….this adds more intrigue to the game. This game is shaping up to another massive great hit
