NIS America has informed publications via a press release that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is headed to the Nintendo Switch in addition to the PS4 (physical and digital) and PS Vita (digital-only) on September 5, 2017 in North America and on September 8, 2017 in Europe.
Because Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is heading to the Nintendo Switch, we are delaying the North American and Europe release date to September 5, 2017 and September 8, 2017, respectively.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this the first time you see a Touhou game on a Nintendo console?
Did not look special.
But are they really delaying the game to port it on Switch?
Sweet.
I was trying to tell people that the Switch would have better 3rd party support than the Wii U and this announcement further proves that. With the 3DS on it’s way out, expect the Switch to get more 1st and 3rd party games that would usually go to that the device
||Everything depends on the E3 Weapons Demonstration Arena, once High Command secures a solid support, we will rise and The First Order will strike mercilessly…||
Your prediction is 100% on point, Paid. The more we see third parties bringing full support to Nintendo’s hybrid platform, the better. Nintendo needs to bring more and more Switch systems worldwide because the demand is extremely critical.
looked up a video. first thing I see is people saying the graphics are trash (which is true) second comment “better than shitendo switch”.
Lol idk anyone who actually would buy this game, really niche game but hey the more the merrier. I still hope to see all these random Japanese games come to the switch like they do the Vita, it’s a really good sign for great Japanese games to come.
did you just call touhou “niche”?
Lol yes I did
Isn’t that one of those Touhou games using the chibi artstyle for graphics & the only time you see normal shaped humans is their portraits? If so, I’ll pass.
