April’s NPD numbers are in for the United States and it has emerged that Mario Kart is now the best-selling racing franchise of all-time. Mario’s latest karting adventure Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the top-selling piece of software for the month of April beating the likes of Persona 5 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

“Video game software dollar sales grew 6 percent versus year ago to $304 million, driven by the launches of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Persona 5, along with a strong second month for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” said Piscatella. “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the month’s top-selling title. As a property, Mario Kart is the all-time best-selling racing franchise in the U.S.”

In the United States Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best selled game. But who knows in other countrys.
But let’s be honest. Mario Kart 8 is very simple to understand the game.
Project Cars is a good game but sometimes can be difficult to understand.
Project cars was supposed to be the ultimate racing game, the most realistic game to date and all that shit.
But like no mans sky, it fell flat.

Love me some Mario Kart but Forza is my racer of choice.
