Some of you may have noticed that you’ve been sent an email from Nintendo with a short survey for My Nintendo. If you fill in the short survey by September 6th you will be eligible to receive some additional Platinum Points. I’m not entirely sure whether this is worldwide or just for consumers in North America. Either way, best check your email.

I have more platinum points than i know what to do with them. Same for gold points.
Why do they even bother? Does anyone even use this “reward” system all that much? Makes Nintendo Club look amazing, and that system was terrible the last few years.
I got the survey, it basically asks about your favorite Nintendo characters and franchises and whether you already have a Switch or plan to get one. I picked all the big names (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Star Fox) and left out the casual stuff (Miis, Brain Training, Nintendogs, etc).
There’s not even a way to just log into the website and see your account that way is there? I’ll never bother with it again honestly.
Oh it’s reached Europe, I got it yesterday. Asked me about Nintendo franchises I liked then
it “threw me out” and gave me the points the instant I said I already owned a Switc.
If you’re curious what they’re really after, say you don’t. It might get into Metroid etc.

Why here, in Europe, we don’t have the same rewards as for the American and Japan Site?
I really wish Nintendo would bring back physical rewards, so I can finally start caring about earning points.
I know. Sat was the first time I didn’t bother trying to earn points. I have nearl 450 set to expire June 1st. So why bother?
