Employees at Guild Wars and Aion developer NCsoft were given a surprise this week when their CEO kindly decided to buy every employee at the company a brand new Nintendo Switch and a copy of the remarkable The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The firm has an impressive 3,100 employees, so it cost the CEO more than $1 million for the kind gesture. The reason why the CEO decided to do this was simply because he loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and wanted all his employees to experience the joys of Link’s latest adventure. Sadly the employees will have to wait a little while as the Nintendo Switch has yet to launch in South Korea.
Thanks to fanboydestroyer for the tip!
South Korea is so awesome
a guy did a nice thing
“south korea is so awesome”
fucking what?
In my experience every one I’ve met in South Korea was really nice and super cool. I feel like I’m always hearing about really awesome things that come from that country. This story just adds to that. It’s a shame North Korea can’t be as cool. 🙃
Everybody knows North Korea is da real bomb….
Man, you’re just a ray of sunshine on this site.
Don’t confuse South Korea with its nothern counterpart- THAT’S the Korea that has the real problems.
We noticed XD coolest boss ever.
You’re some cool funny d
You’re always hearing about really awesome things that come from that country? Like what? Nothing that ever came from Korea is special. The modern Korean culture is a mixture between American and Japanese culture and nothing I’ve ever seen or heard from South Korea didn’t already exist in America or Japan.

I hate Gangnam Style, the song is fucking aweful (seriously, who listens to this kind of music?) ! Also, there’s nothing Korean about it, except for the language.
Wow i should have worked there
Damn. That’s a model CEO. You don’t hear about that from people in his position.
That’s just amazing….best CEO ever.
You have my respect.
When I read the title I was expecting the company to have like 10 employees.
But damn 3100? Coolest boss ever.
Well I just got a two dollar an hour raise. That’s 80 dollars a week, 320 dollars a month. So I could technically buy 12 Nintendo Switches after one year. So my boss is actually way cooler. Although to be fair he only has 10 employees.
He is so kind to do that for all his workers.
||Everyone will kneel…||
Maybe they will just think…
Oh why don’t we make games for the Switch? Let’s go together my friends.
||Silence…||

:D
I didn’t know you were a CEO too, Your Grace!
||Your logic makes no sense…||
It doesn’t have to. I’m not a dark-robot-commander-thingy. It’s an art. 😝
No clip of Loki? I’m disappointed.
||The best lines are saved to much more important events…||
Good point.
Just so they may steal more concepts from Zelda? Such CUNTS!
Great. Another troll.
Shut up
I agree with sonic. Shut up.
||As long as they all have a Switch, their resources are now ours, their potential concept theft will forever be our ideology, in essence, they all belong to our rule…||
So how about some of them games like Guild Wars 2 and others for the Switch?
I know they mostly make MMO’s and those games don’t translate too well for controllers, but still.
Why
Now that’s a guy I’d like to work for. Even working for someone who’s a gamer, and understands the gamer’s passion would be cool.
Well yes
This is a total 180 compared to the stories of Konami’s workplace.
So YOU’RE the one responsible for the shortages!
Joke aside, that’s an awesome gesture. If only all CEOs thought that well of their employees, on all lengths of the ladder.
Wow that’s crazy.
What I want to know is how he found 3,100 Switch’s.

With Nintendo fans struggling to find a console since March,.. this happens. What happened to limit one per customer? Should have just given them gift certificates.
Awesome. That’s another point for South Korea while North Korea continues to suck in every aspect of it’s country.
