We recently heard that “something big” is coming to the Nintendo Switch version of NBA Playgrounds. However, we now know that whatever this tease pertains to will be unveiled on Thursday, June 1, as part of a “huge announcement” from Saber Interactive. Here’s what the developer had to say regarding its upcoming reveal:
Nintendo Switch players! We’re going to have a huge announcement on Thursday for you as a thank you for your patience – stay tuned!
The only thing coming to my head as anything that could be “huge” and something only for the Switch are them adding in Mario and Company as playable characters…
That or a mode of sorts like in Tekken Tag 2 on Wii U
That would be actually kinda cool.

NBA Playgrounds is like number three or four in the top sellers in my area. I was shocked.
