It is Monday which means that sales data is in for the United Kingdom courtesy of GFK Chart Track. It’s been another good week for Nintendo UK as there are three Nintendo Switch titles in the top ten. The most recent Nintendo Switch release was Ultra Street Fighter 2 which landed impressively at number ten despite its much discussed price tag. You can read our review of the game, right here.

}{ Given how many times this game has been re-released, it’s impressive to see people are still willing to buy it… }{
That’s true. But then again,this is a new system and some are caught in the hype.
Also, if either of you knew anything about fighting games you would be aware that new versions aren’t “re-releases”
I’ve never played a street fighter game before, so I’m looking forward to getting this game here in the states!
Do you have a 3DS? If so, SSFIV 3D Edition is also a fine entry point for new players, plus its roster is twice the size of II. You can find it used for around $15 or so; I’d recommend it. The only thing I’d worry about is if you’re getting it for online- its community is pretty dried up by this point… :/
No offense meant, but this is frankly terrible advice. SFIV is a terrible place for new players, as the game is built around extremely difficult to land 1-frame links in combos. SF2 is in a much better place to teach the fundamentals of predicting your opponent’s likely behavior at high speeds before submerging in the hyper-technical world of modern Street Fighters.
Nintenmau5’s influence with Her Majesty grows ever stronger. The Ambassador should be pleased with himself!
