Preparations seem to be well underway as Universal Studios Japan and Nintendo work together to build the much-anticipated Super Nintendo World. A huge Mario-themed stage is being constructed and some pictures of it were snapped by Twitter account @LCASTUDIOS_USJ. We’re still yet to learn when the grand opening will take place but we do know that Super Nintendo World is targeted to open in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
You can see some pictures of the stage below:

Thanks to Mike S for the tip!
Two words:
Me
Go
I can’t wait to go there. The Nintendo World :) A magical place where you encounter the best Nintendo characters.
This place will make many babies happy than Disney Land.
“Super Mario Bros. 3 was all a stage play confirmed” lol
Still, this is awesome! The implications! The potential!!
Announcement and/or groundbreaking is very close indeed.
The only thing that sucks is that I’ll never see the day where I can go to ANY Universal Studios locations. Heck, even Disneyland is too far away for me to ever go again. Since I’m not the traveling type.
Tisk tisk. This is the destination for gamers everywhere.
Wow is that background image the concept? That looks awesome.
Stage looks great, I guess there’ll be song and dance.
