North American users of My Nintendo have a very good reason to check the My Nintendo site today. That is because some new rewards have been added, including one that can net you a Mario Kart 8 DLC pack for 60 Gold Points. Pretty much all of these rewards will be available until September 2nd. A Link wallpaper is the only reward that doesn’t have that September deadline. However, it will be available until the start of December, so you have plenty of time to get it. This program is for Nintendo fans, right? So what makes Nintendo think we don’t already have all of the games they are discounting? I do. Especially this late in the consoles’ lifecycles. And I likely paid full price for them. MyNintendo is a disaster so far. *End Rant*
You’d think that Nintendo would have a lot less users of this new, crappy rewards system. Then they’d notice how much less people are using it, and take the hint that it SUCKS! I don’t think they realize how much people loved those physical rewards of Club Nintendo. I haven’t even acknowledged this new reward system.
Don’t use Miitomo and have long moved past holding out for hope that the rewards system would be corrected.

One of the few things I don’t already have on this list is sm64 so I guess I’ll get that. I really hope the switch vc gives us AT LEAST a discount on these games we’ve already purchased. I have so many vc games between Wii U and 3DS.

Even worse, you get a bigger discount when buying used.
The worst thing about the new reward system is that you lose your points so fast, it’s not even worth saving them.
I don’t care for my points and just let them rot.
