Nintendo UK has detailed their special edition of Metroid: Samus Returns and it sounds wonderful. Once pre-orders go live fans will be treated to a variety of special goodies which have been outlined below. I’m not sure if this will be just from the Nintendo UK Store or whether you will be able to purchase from other retailers.
Special edition of Metroid: Samus Returns which includes a physical version of the game, a download code for the original Game Boy game Metroid II: Return of Samus to be redeemed in Nintendo eShop, a SteelBook, a sound-selection CD featuring 25 tracks from across the Metroid franchise, a gold “S” pin badge, a Morph Ball 3D keyring and a 40-page artbook.

A digital code of the original Metroid II does not interest me. 1. I’m pretty sure I already got the game on my 3DS. 2. Like Zero Mission, I doubt I’ll ever be able to return to the original game after I play the remake.
Speaking of Zero Mission, I want a 3DS port of it. Like yesterday!
