    1. I’m sure Brandon Hardon is acting like one game winning an event means Nintendo won E3. It doesn’t. And odyssey is the reason I got my switch, one of the few things I’m looking forward to. Good try kid ;)

      1. Actually, pretty much everyone is saying they did with Mario, 2 Metroids, a core switch pokemon game, xenblade 2 info, Zelda info, a new kirby, a new yoshi, and rocket league.

        Keep trying “kid.”

Also, I’m liking the spelling of my name. But i question why you keep talking about my hard on? Are you enamored with it?~

        1. A pic of a title of metroid, a promise that a core Pokémon title is coming to switch, Zelda dlc that should be in the game, footage of games we already know about soon to be released, and a new Kirby and yoshi don’t match up to what the others had. Going by this page or Nintendo fan YouTube pages don’t mean anything lol. Anyone who thinks Nintendo had the best showing is lying to themselves.

As for your name, your dumbass took way too long to even get what it meant, smart guy lol,and yea I am honestly quite impressed by it. You manage to be hard 24/7 for Nintendo, that’s some feat. Probably explains why you’re half-retarded as well, you’re brain doesn’t get enough oxygen with that Nintendick.

      2. No, they won, its more “than a pic” its confirmation that this system will be getting another game of the most critically acclaimed series of all time. Not only that, but were getting a great looking metroid game this year(its already on amazons best selling top ten) Why would you say that needed to be in the game, are you daft? You can easily put 150 hours in botw and you think this DLC should have been in the game? Are you saying 60.00 wasnt enough to justify botw’s content? rocket leauge playable with others who have to game on pc and xbox is huge, you can deny that all you want, but that game is gonna sell.

it wasnt just the fact that they had more games announced than anyone else for THIS year, it was the entire event as a whole, Pokken tournament was exciting(coming from someone who didnt like the game that much), but the ARMS tournament was BADASS, Nintendos whole presentation was on a completley other level than any other booth. Sorry to break it to you but everyone else was just OK.

        1. Don’t feel like responding to most of your comment cause I’ll just be repeating myself but botw was an empty game for as big as it is. I am 11 shrines away from having them all and I haven’t played in over a month. Literally the first zelda game that I have no desire to go back to. And I put in around 400 hours and realized it was wayyyy too much of the same boring stuff. And no a pic with confirmation that you’re making a game long overdue doesn’t make you win. An arms tournament definitely don’t mean anything. Pokémon being promised doesn’t mean shit. Saying we have these games but have nothing to show doesn’t mean much. You can be excited, but you can’t say it wins them best E3. Rocket league is a nice touch but nothing ground breaking, the game is already old and will be more so when the switch version releases. Not much NEW content shown from Nintendo besides some mediocre games like yoshi and Kirby. Keep up the optimism though. Well I responded to more than I cared to, won’t do that again cause I’ll be wasting my time arguing with another blind fanboy.

In the case of “winning” E3, it’s a person to person basis. Others might feel differently & say Sony won. Even if some award or voting thing occurred saying Ninty won with a majority of people voting that Ninty won, it doesn’t mean anyone’s independent opinion on the matter has to change. I won’t change my opinion that I feel Sony won even if majority told me otherwise. (Although, Ninty came in second for me since I don’t really pay attention to Microsoft & I skipped any 3rd party showcases.)

As for Zelda’s first DLC pack, a hard mode definitely should have been in the game from the get go. Witcher 3 had a pretty big world but that didn’t stop the guys from having 4 difficulty settings for that. Sure Ninty’s hard mode is adding some new things to the game but that could have been a separate mode entirely. Oh & the Korok Mask’s feature for finding Koroks should have honestly been part of the Sheikah Sensor. Now I’m stuck wearing something I don’t want to wear so I can find all of the Korok Seeds. So much for wearing the Hero of the Wild’s entire armor set to roam the wilds of Hyrule looking for Korok Seeds.

But whatever. I’m honestly not trying to argue these points & merely pointing out how Nintendo could have done a bit better with the first DLC pack. So I said my peace. You all have fun now!

      3. Face it. You have nothing. You can only come back with ad hominems and strawmans. Your name call, throw a tantrum, and storm off when proven wrong, and think everyone is a fanboy but you (ironic because you show that behavior over everyone else here.) I feel sorry for shadowvegta if you act this way around him.

    1. Actually, my best game of E3 was Anthem.
But Mario is just unstoppable. And that Yoshi looks so darn beautiful, I could almost taste it… And it tastes nothing like the bitter Switch cartridges

For me, that honor goes to Assassin’s Creed Origins. Origin story games always tend to be among the best games I end up playing. (I love Ocarina of Time & Skyward Sword for the fact they are origin stories. Ocarina of Time was the origin for how Ganon came to be; least for now, anyway, as BotW has got me thinking that maybe Ganon predates Ganondorf getting the Triforce & calling himself Ganon. I won’t spoil the line in BotW that makes me have this theory, though. Skyward Sword was the origin for how the Master Sword came to be, how Zelda & her bloodline came to be, & it also explains why Link & Zelda are always getting reincarnated/reborn throughout their world’s history which is because of that game’s big bad cursing them.)

How is it contradictory exactly? With current knowledge, Ocarina of Time is the origin of Ganon. Another game predating Ocarina in the timeline could end up getting made that reveals this is not really the case & that Ganon existed before hand and that Ganondorf was simply named after Ganon because his mother was part of some dying cult that worshipped Ganon and, thanks to Twinrova who could be revealed to have been Ganon’s servants since they mention they are pretty old in Ocarina when Link kills them, they raised him to be the new Ganon because they knew he was their master reborn. Or maybe his mother died while giving birth to him before she could name him & Twinrova named him Ganondorf because they realized he was their master reborn; no dying Ganon cult needs to be in this scenario. Then again, with Twinrova in both scenarios, you don’t need some dying Ganon cult regardless.

          ||I was refering to your BOTW theory, that one takes place after OoT both in its current timeline and the history story so it does not say anything about Ganon’s origin concerning the Triforce or Ganondorf…||

  3. I think this saved Nintendo. The showing I genuinely thought was completely piss poor.
Metroid doesnt count cause there wasn’t any gameplay.

Spiderman was hands down game of the show

    1. IGN judges these things based on everything they see at the show, not just the presentations. Mario was on the show floor for people to play for themselves, so IGN was able to try it out. Spiderman wasn’t. That fact that Mario was playable probably pushed it ahead of most games at the show.

    2. ” Spiderman was hands down game of the show ”

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch!}

What they showed of Spider-Man was pretty awesome as we got some awesome gameplay, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the game of the show for some; so it’s not that funny. (it’s more than what Nintendo sadly showed of Metroid “Prime 4,” anyway.) I’m hoping it ends up being the best Spider-Man game since Spider-Man 2 based on the Spider-Man 2 movie with Tobey Maguire.

  4. I wasn’t going to get a Switch. I was done with new consoles. I was going to sit on my already huge collection, work through my backlog, maybe even start to move away from video games entirely. I thought it was finally time.

Then Nintendo put a motherf*cking tyrannosaurus in a Mario game… and announced Metroid Prime 4, just cuz.

Looks like I still have some years left in this fandom, after all.

  5. It wasn’t even close, Super Mario Odyssey took it easily. I just hate that BOTW has to go up against this game for GOTY…….it’s like a Lamborghini going up against a Ferrari lol
