Pokemon Switch Will Be A Traditional Find, Battle & Train Experience

It may not be a huge amount of information but it is confirmed information that I’m sure a lot of fans will be interested to know: Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon RPG, which are currently in development for Nintendo Switch, won’t be too dissimilar to what we’ve seen in the past. It has been confirmed that both games will indeed follow from the roots of previous titles in each franchise. Yuji Nakamura, from Bloomberg, recently got to catch up with Reggie Fils-Aime and he stated:

“Metroid Prime 4 will be ‘a first-person adventure’ and Pokemon RPG “a traditional find, battle, train type experience”.

    ||Fix the wi-fi problems that thousands have on their Switch and then we will see endless victories with this…||

    1. I have a strong feeling the game is being worked on very hard but when it comes out its gunna have 3ds graphics and look exactly like a port, idk why I just think that it wont be like super crazy graphics like Pokken

        ||The connection range is abysmal to non-existant for many, it’s obviously a technical problem in one way or the other in the Switch since everyone with this problem have suberb connection with their other machines whether it’s former Nintendo machines or others…||

            1. I really don’t want to try — even though the screen is made of plastic. I have to much strength stored within. I must keep it at bay… waiting for the right time to unlease it…

      1. I’ve thought about this and it would work, as long as once you enter a new area the new professor “studied” all your high level pokemon until you got to a certain point in the area. This would help with the leveling between regions and allow for the creation of a perfect Pokemon game!

I’ve always wanted a feature in the Pokemon games where you can take your Pokemon to get their levels reverted back to level 1 but keep their nickname & ribbons intact. (With Pokemon that you evolved, you can either make them revert to their pre-evolved forms or lower their level down to when they first evolved into their current evolution.)

  2. Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon on Switch are going to be epic additions to the Switch alongside BOTW, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem and Mario Odyssey. Hopefully Nintendo don’t get complacent in their recent success, the Switch absolutely needs as many games as possible. Here’s hoping for a Switch F Zero, Donkey Kong and Star Fox. With the combination of superb first party content alongside a good selection of decent third party titles, the Switch could really become something very special. Fingers crossed.

  3. Ugh, another hyper-linear, hand-holdy experience for 3 year olds like Alola?
Pokemon just keeps getting worse and worse with each iteration, every time there’s less to do, less exploration, less new pokemon, less challenges, less freedom.
The only thing there’s more and more of is roadblocks and cutscenes.

    1. Pokemon has been in a bad place since gen. 5 (at least with longtime fans), however, I don’t think it is fair to say that Sun and Moon lacked challenge. It was easily the second most difficult in the series (Not using EXP share), right behind Gold and Silver. Also, a lot of these roadblocky, handholdy sections are due to the archaic hardware and outdated game-design pihilosophies of Gamefreak. I’m hoping that with the huge jump in hardware power, we’ll see what we want. And more, especially with new blood working on the game. I wholeheartedly expect a more free, open experience with whatever the next Pokemon game is.

While I love the original Metroid Prime Trilogy, I want my 3rd person viewpoint. Add an option to switch between the 2 viewpoints like Skyrim does, damn it! And ditch the Prime part. Prime died with Dark Samus who was the namesake of that trilogy since it was originally Metroid Prime in the first Prime game. Dark Samus, & Prime Trilogy, got to go out with a bang. Don’t fuck it up.

      ||It doesn’t need to be about Metroid Prime or Phazon, it could be about who created Phaaze to begin with? Or how did Phaaze become self-aware if it was a natural evolution…||

      ||It could also take a similar route to Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion where those silly humans somehow could contain a sample, or perhaps Metroid Prime managed to secure a clone of itself by fission collaborating with Sylux…||

Or we can leave Dark Samus/Metroid Prime dead. Ridley is all we need for the “bad guy who won’t stay dead” role in the Metroid franchise; it’s his MO. 2 is pushing it. Unlike Ridley, Metroid Prime got stronger with each revival. Any more revivals & Metroid Prime will eventually become the epitome of a Mary Sue. We can do an entirely new trilogy with a new name & still use the gameplay of the previous entry.

Sorry but I’m afraid Quadraxis was a one & done boss battle.

*watches the whole video til it cuts to some other scene* lol Thx, Quadraxis! I needed that laugh.

                  ||So you see, they called me Quadraxis the Bloodthirsty who kills whoever doesn’t give Quadraxis exactly what it wants at the moment that it wants it which is me in Metroid Prime 4, at E3, 2018, because I was also an ancient pharaoh that was destroyed and now has come BACK TO LIFE||

  5. Pokemon Gold and silver were the best. You can repeat a battle with an opponent (CPU). And each time they call you for a rematch, their Pokemon’s Lvl also increases. That area on X and Y wasnt the same.

Sorry no rhymes for that one, hard to explain and do this at the same time.
