UK: ARMS Enters Charts At Number Two

ARMS was released this Friday worldwide and now we finally have details regarding how well it performed in the United Kingdom. The brawler entered the UK charts at number two as it couldn’t quite fend off the heavily discounted Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PlayStation 4. ARMS has had the fourth biggest launch of any Nintendo Switch title that has been released thus far, which puts it behind Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and 1-2-Switch.

  1. (4) Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4)
  2.  (-) ARMS (NS)
  3. (5) Grand Theft Auto V (PS4/XO/PS3/360/PC)
  4.  (3) DiRT 4 (PS4/XO/PC)
  5.  (1) WipEout Omega Collection (PS4)
  6.  (2) Tekken 7 (PS4/XO/PC)
  7.  (7) FIFA 17 (XO/PS4/360/PS3)
  8.  (6) Overwatch (XO/PS4/PC)
  9.  (8) Injustice 2 (PS4/XO)
  10. (11)Rocket League: Collector’s Edition (PS4/XO/PC)

  1. Considering we are talking about a game that falls into a niche genre, is a new IP and is on a platform with a far smaller user base than the PS4, I think Nintendo should be pleased with that outcome.

Assuming Nintendo keep updating the game and the online community catches on, I think ARMS will be fine and will probably end up on a lot of people’s Switches over time.

  2. Loving arms so far. The thing that sucks is the fact that i can’t play it laying down or anything cus I prefer motion controls lol haven’t tried with the regular control yet . It’s lacking content but hopefully Nintendo keeps adding to it like Splatoon
