Level-5 have had huge success with the Yo-kai Watch series in Japan, the original 2013 game selling over a million copies there. While the game was certainly well-received internationally, it failed to have the same massive impact. Many sequels and spin-off games have since released in Japan, but only Yo-kai Watch and Yo-kai Watch 2 have received localisations. However, not all hope is lost for international Yo-kai Watch fans. In an interview with YouTuber AbdallahSmash026 at E3, Level-5 discussed future localisations. While they refused to give any specifics, they claimed that they are “working on localising as many as many of the Japanese games as possible”.
