Art From Fire Emblem Heroes Summer Event Discovered

Fire Emblem Heroes has been out for over four months now, but the app is still getting regular updates from Nintendo. While it hasn’t been officially announced yet, those poking around in the game have uncovered art from an upcoming event. Titled Fire Emblem Heroes: Ylissean Summer, it will likely be revealed in the coming weeks. Nintendo should really be more careful as the same thing happened with an unused Christmas event. All of the character art they discovered is really creative, so check it out below.

Yes. It’s a real problem for the ladies. My wife’s ovaries hurt every time she sees Jet Li, for instance.

  1. This franchise is now synonymous with giant breasts, swimsuits, and dating giant breasts wearing swimsuits; with a few fantasy elements sprinkled about. Remember a couple months ago when Fire Emblem was a strategy game again?

    1. A couple months ago? You did play Awakening, yeah? Well, probably not I suppose. The half the game was figuring out who to hook up with who, with tons of offspring combinations.

      1. Yeah, Awakening was the first game I played. It was fine, but it also kicked off this thing where every game has to be a dating sim and fan service. Though a couple of months ago we got the Gaiden remake which was practically everything I like in the series. I’m fine with fan service, but when your game becomes only fan service then it starts to lose its appeal.

        1. The Awakening DLC had quite a bit, and the US even censored some of it. It also launched a new era of Fire Emblem Popularity. It’s hard to say if it was the gameplay, or the fresh coat of paint, including fan-service.

This will certainly be a hot issue for many people on both sides of the fence. A very, very hot issue :]. I think as long as it’s pulling in $$$ again, they are unlikely to change their sexy new image, sorry bud!

Tharja with what looks like Chrom’s cape behind her. *facepalm* In their crazy attempt to censor it, they made it worse! Instead of Tharja fixing her bikini bottoms from crawling up her butt, it looks like Chrom is giving her… I’ll stop now before I say something I shouldn’t. lol

      2. Honestly, everything would be fine and dandy if they kept pushing out their fan service as overpriced DLC. Awakening was fun, I liked the characters, and if a guy wants to see a picture of Tiki in a swimsuit… well you can see it for free on the internet, but more power to him. But when this reliance on fan service starts to leak into the base game, I can’t help but feel critical elements like story and characters start to suffer for it. I’m fine with characters in the game that are fan service on the outset, but they kinda have be a character too, you know, with a personality. People like to complain about Tharja, but I would argue that Tharja is a pretty good character. Now when we get a character like Camilla… a character who just a walking jiggling kink… no. That’s when I have a problem.

Camilla is pure fan service? Shame because I like her design. Least Tharja & a few other female characters that had a lot of sex appeal in Awakening had character.

Looks more & more like I made the right choice not getting Fates.

And I’m one of the people that wanted the petting kept in, too.

Anyway, if I wanted pure fan service, there are plenty of anime out there for that purpose. Not to mention a few other things that are not kid appropriate.

      3. Camilla’s design isn’t the problem, though she does look a little overboard with the exposed panties (but that seems to be a design trend for Fates). Camilla’s just a bland character with no personality. All she talks about is Corrin and that’s pretty much it. I hate characters like that. Same reason I didn’t like Faye from Shadows of Valentia, they’re one note. Also, that petting minigame is probably the worst thing I’ve seen in the franchise. It steps out of the boundaries of fan service into borderline perversion, not to mention you would’ve had to done it EVERY SINGLE TIME you entered your private quarters. I’m not one to praise censorship, but that is one thing I am very glad they removed. Shame the game is still pretty disappointing with or without touching faces.

        1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4; Awaiting Greatness on Nintendo Switch!}

There was a way to do that petting thing without dipping into perversion. Like kept the petting to the shoulders & up. In hindsight, it probably was a good thing it got removed if trimming it down would have been too much work. I think most games that have petting available to the entire body tend to hit an M rating.

          1. Well, when I say perversion, it’s more like… How many friends invite you into their room to rub your face? It’s kinda weird.

        2. Also, I respect your opinion. Some people have different tolerances. And we are destined to debate the boundaries. :]

    2. Blame the newcomers.

Even Shadows of Valentia alone couldn’t compete with Awakening and Fates in terms of sales.

At least it knew that it wanted to target the OG Fire Emblem fanbase.

      1. I think the development team shares a good chunk of blame for the state of the franchise as much as the divided fanbase does. You see, fan service exists in all of the games. Big breasts, tiny outfits, it’s nothing new for Fire Emblem, yet with this, most of the older games in the franchise are top tier, genuinely gripping games. So I don’t blame them for putting fan service in their games, that’s fine. I blame them for relying on it. They are now in a mind set where they have to put all their resources into turning their characters into dating personalities and focus on almost nothing else. You know what we get then? Fates. And I would like to avoid getting more games like Fates.

Say yes to moderate fan service. Say no to overdoing fan service.

    3. From your later post but this comment system sucks:

“But when this reliance on fan service starts to leak into the base game, I can’t help but feel critical elements like story and characters start to suffer for it.”

The reason I didn’t like the Easter event and that’s when I started turning away from this title. Now I don’t play it anymore.

Oi! Where’s pictures of Lyndis, Tharja, Lucina, & some others!?

And why isn’t there art of Tiki’s bikini outfit taking damage!? @.@ lol
