SteamWorld Dig 2 Launches On Nintendo Switch Between “Late Summer And Early Fall”

Great news for those of you who are eagerly anticipating SteamWorld Dig 2 on the Nintendo Switch as the developers have announced that the game will be arriving fairly soon. You will be able to pick it up between the late summer and early fall. Hopefully we shall get a more substantial date in due course! The developers, Image & Form, have said that the game is almost complete and just needs a little more spit and polish and it will be ready.

Grab your pickaxe and dig into the sequel to the award-winning SteamWorld Dig! A platform mining adventure forged in Metroidvania flames.

In search of her lost friend, a lone steambot and her unlikely companion must dig deep, gain riches and explore an underworld riddled with danger. But time is running short.

  1. If I did own a switch, this would be a great game for on-the-go. You don’t need a big TV to enjoy Steamworld games.

    Because I don’t have a switch however, My first choice would be to get this on my N3DS. If I have to buy it on my 3rd party box, I will though.
