The prestigious judging panel over at the Game Critics Awards have named Super Mario Odyssey as the best game of E3 2017. The super-fun 3D platformer picked up the highly sought after Game of the Show. Nintendo as a publisher and developer pretty much cleared up the awards ceremony beating the likes of Microsoft and Sony. Here’s the winners this year:

Best Star Fox game I ever played in entire of my life. Hoping to see something similar on the Switch.
Personally, I’m old enough to be fond of the original on SNES. I think it’s incredible that they are officially releasing Star Fox 2 on the SNES Mini.

I wish metroid samus returns won best of show as well just because it’s metroid and I want it to do as well as possible. Though it makes more sense to have odyssey be the best of show since we know a lot more about that game and it looks like the best 3d mario in ages.

It is true one thing. If a game there is Mario, you sure win a trophy. Just like Mario & Rabbids. In another universe Ubisoft decide to make only the Rabbids Strategy game and people rages on that game. Now with Mario everything is ok.
PS: It’s a great game anyway, they have done a good job personally.
Metroid: Samus Returns actually won the handheld/mobile character? It wasn’t railroaded by the cell phone games that have more users? I’m very happy about this. Maybe there is some hope after all. Then again, this was mostly just critics voting. In the user voting polls, M:SR will most likely get stoned to death.

Honestly, I didn’t actually read the article the first time. I saw the headline and thought the article was just going to be about Odyssey winning that award, so I jumped to the comments. Just read the article now and l see it actually lists all the awards.
