Lots of sales data was announced by Nintendo at tonight’s 77th annual shareholders meeting. We recently reported on Switch sales, but now we have gotten an update on 3DS sales too. According to Nintendo, the 3DS has now surpassed 66,000,000 sales. Nintendo also says that software sales are “on firm ground”.
No mention on Wii U aside from Zelda? Probably is too low to even make an announcement.

Nice. Sales are still pretty decent. Will hopefully hit 70 soon enough.
I hope something crazy sales will happend when Metroid will be unleashed (Not released or launch :P )

Since those sales comprise of people that upgraded to the n3DS, too, or had to replace their old broken 3DS or 2DS, I’d say the actual owner number is maybe 40m if I’m being generous but 30m at the minimum.
Oh & in before someone claims this is indicative of how well the Switch will do. lol
