    1. I was hoping for it to be before… That way we learn more about the champions and their personalities you know …because they didn’t get much screen time to see there personalities develop. I saw so much of Zelda it makes link irrelevant…. Disappointed but hopefully I get over it. As long as Zelda herself isn’t seen too often to take focus away from the others

      1. Jaded Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4; Awaiting Greatness on Nintendo Switch! Just need cloud storage, add external hard drive support, & to eliminate the need for that stupid Nintendo Switch Online App on smartphones.}

        I’m glad it’s after because the current ending for BotW is a huge disappointment. If anything, I’d prefer a prequel set 100 years before BotW. We have so little information about the past that it could work as a prequel could show us what happened between the specific memories of Link’s we did see. It’s not like those memories made up the brunt of his life before being sealed.

        1. The memories where mostly of Zelda, the only exception where the 4 of the champions. But wernt enough time to show their character that made them unique… Somewhat mipha stating her and link shared time together at some point

            Hence why they deserve a prequel game that takes hours & hours to beat instead of some post game story that will only last for maybe 10 hours at best.

  1. I learned little… Still holding out for another playable character, either Zelda or the Heroes (all 4 would be awesome, hell, you could use the same map and the same system and just build a new game on top of that and I would buy it full price, no problem… but that obviously won’t be happening with this DLC)

  2. Is baby sidon canon?
    Will we see mipha again?
    Will we find out what is wrong with death mountain?
    Will we know why revali is such an a**? (but i still like him)

  3. I like the champions as characters, but I find it tough to take them seriously after finding out how hard they all failed (minus Zelda). Other than that, YES!! Post Ganon gameplay is exactly what I wanted!

    Good. The current ending we got is honestly crap. And now we know why: it’s not the TRUE ending as they so claim as there is more to the story.

      Especially when post game content is similar to Pokemon Gold & Silver’s post game content or similar to Witcher 3’s post game content.

  5. Dammit this article is wrong as of yesterday dlc 2 came out and its legit just some cut scenes and a badass motorcycle i thought it would be rebuilding hyrule i cant say im not dissapointed.

      Let me guess. Just MORE flashbacks from 100 years ago, huh? Lame. I guess it’s too much to hope completing the new story quests will unlock an even better ending for the game after beating Calamity Ganon… (This explains why they said months back that you can still fight Calamity Ganon when this story expansion comes because it doesn’t actually take place after beating Ganon & freeing Zelda but BEFORE the final battle with Ganon.)
