  1. Is it really going that fast in the U.S?
I think you don’t have to even try if you want one currently here in Europe.
In my country, every major retailer has them in relatively good stock.

    1. It is going pretty fast here, but I think people don’t take the effort to go to retail stores other than gamestop to look. A buddy of mine got one here recently and they had like 20 of them in stock at a walmart near by.

He’s right, though. It’s not like we consumers control the actual stock; that’s Nintendo’s job. Or any other business that wants to sell their product. If someone isn’t buying your product when they actually want said product but can’t find it, that’s all on you as the manufacturer. These are cold hard facts when you are in the world of business & are selling a product. Don’t have enough stock to meet demand; that’s YOUR problem.

      1. Recently, I have not been able to get some of the amiibo, unless I pre-ordered it. Bayonetta 1 amiibo was out in minutes when pre-orders got up, and it was marked up ridiculous 30€ retail… Got

        1. It seems that some amiibos are preorder exclusive. I was looking forward to getting the MM and SS Link amiibos, but they were put online when I was working. The only reason I managed to get a Switch on launch because it was in the wee hours of the morning when scalpers were asleep. I’m tired of Nintendo’s bs when it comes to keeping things in stock, NES mini was discontinued when it was still selling like hot cakes, and it took me 2 years to find a Wii back in 2008. Their buisness practices are anti consumer.

Exactly another reason I’m not able to get back into Breath of the Wild right now even with the DLC pack being released. Not being able to play the game with the Fierce Deity outfit & Majora’s Mask is a total let down because Nintendo did shitty stock of the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo. Even if they do restock it, I doubt Best Buy is gonna put it on their online store again & it will most likely be a retail store only item. Even if it is on the site, I doubt there’ll be enough for everyone that still wants it.

            1. If I was a Best Buy employee, I’d probably get fired for trying to hide an amiibo in the store until the end of my shift so that I can buy it. It’s seriously that bad.

  2. I’ll feel more comfortable carrying my Switch around once it’s more readily available in the US. I have to believe they’ll be easier to get come Holiday time.

Of course it sold out! lol The shitty stock continues!
