WWE 2K18 Announced For Nintendo Switch

WWE 2K18 was listed for Nintendo Switch by an Austrian retailer last month. However, the game has now been officially confirmed for the console. It was revealed in a video with wrestler Seth Rollins. While we know that the PS4 and Xbox One versions are coming October 17th, the Switch version does not yet have a confirmed release date. Are you excited for WWE 2K18 for Switch? Tell us below.

  1. I haven’t been a fan of the WWE games since Day Of Reckoning for the GameCube but I’ll give this one a shot since now I can play a console version of a HD wrestling game on the go. Good to see that 2K has this much faith in the Switch but hopefully we Nintendo fans get a chance to play a console version of a GTA game on a Nintendo gaming system

    1. WWE Day of Reckoning 1 and 2 for the GameCube and SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain for PlayStation 2 were my all time favorite WWE games of past generations. Take Two Interactive have truly earned my support for bringing their games to the Nintendo Switch. I’m sure the WWE Universe and the world of Nintendo are on the same page with the upcoming WWE 2K18.

    2. My first ever video game was WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role. I’ve played WWE 2k17 ony cousin’s PS4, but the last wrestling game I owned was WWE 13 on Wii, which I really liked. Will definitely be picking this up, considering Nintendo console owners have been without a WWE game for far too long.

  2. Now if only the Switch had custom soundtrack support, this would be a dream come true. There’s nothing quite like hearing your own music during a created wrestler entrance. Sadly, I’m always stuck buying the PS3 version of every WWE game due to that being the only console that has custom soundtrack ability. When it comes to WWE games, it’s custom soundtracks or nothing.

  3. I get one of these every few years when there’s a roster than particularly appeals to me. We’ll see how many 87-91 and 97-00 WWF and WCW wrestlers they have.

Even though I’m not into wrestling games, this is a good sign for third party support. The Wii U didn’t get any WWE games but now the Switch is. Things are looking up 👍🏽

  5. I played a LOT of WCWvsNWO: Revenge on the N64 and a lot of Wrestlemania XVIII on the GameCube when I was a wee lad. Don’t care for it these days, tho

My bud Frank was happy about this. Now he’ll have more reasons to use his Switch in the coming months when all of these sports games are on there. But I, personally, am gonna stick with PS4 for WWE games. But for now, I’m content with WWE 2k17. Now if I can transfer my created characters & stuff to 2k18, then I might be willing to upgrade to the PS4 version of 2k18.
