Leading technology comparison website Digital Foundry has spent some time this weekend playing through the final build of Splatoon 2 and have presented their findings. The long-awaited Splatoon 2 runs at a solid 60fps which is locked, meaning it’s super smooth to play. The game provides a dynamic resolution which the publication says is between 864p and 1080p to accommodate the locked 60fps framerate. Overall the game features improved shadows and models, as well as lighting, over the Wii U original.

Now Nintendo make a realistic looking game with 1080p 60fps cause cartoon graphics is easy cheap trick to make the game look good for kids.i doubt any way Switch engine can even produce realistic graphics.

Alright both of you missed the point I was trying to make, by modern crap I mean the over saturation of “realistic graphics” all realistic games try to look the same all of the developers try to out do each other in terms of how realistic the human models can look. While the games you mentioned are good games I own a few of them the majority of the ones you listed all try to look the same art style wise, so saying cartoony graphics are “cheap” is a complete understatement when most of these games that you named run on a similar engine and or use similar assets giving off the appearance of most modern “realistic games” look the same. So before you resort to insults and the standard Nintendo drown think before you comment.
