Japan: Feast Your Eyes On Mario Kart Arcade GP In VR

Footage of the Virtual Reality version of Mario Kart Arcade GP coming to Bandai Namco’s VR Zone in Japan has surfaced and it looks fantastic. This VR Zone, which opens on July 14 and is located in the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo, will be the only place to try this version played on an HTC Vive. By sitting in the driver’s seat, hooking yourself up to the Vive and attaching wrist-straps, you will be able to fulfill your dream of living these races and even throwing items at your opponents with the flick of a wrist. There are no plans at the moment to bring this to other parts of the world, but let’s hope that changes soon and more people are able to experience Mario Kart in VR.
