You most likely saw yesterday that Nintendo has announced that production on the small New Nintendo 3DS has ceased. The current models going forward will be the New Nintendo 3DS XL and the New Nintendo 2DS XL. Nintendo Europe confirmed to GameSpot today that production has also ceased in Europe for the smaller handheld with the lucrative cover-plates.

It’s weird, JP and EU are the only ones that have decent stock of it. The U.S. barley got the black version. And All versions are now extinct though.
