Ubisoft Will Announce More Nintendo Switch Games “Quite Soon”

Ubisoft have always come out as strong supporters of the Nintendo Switch and it looks as though their talk is going to come into fruition. During a recent earnings call the company has said that it has more Nintendo Switch games to announced fairly soon. There’s no hints regarding which titles these will be, whether they are ports or new IP, but it is encouraging to hear.

  1. Given the strong support WiiU received, and now knowing Nintendo’s IPs such as Zelda, Splatoon and maybe Mario will continue pushing sales, makes sense they are officially jumping on the switch bandwagon.

    If Ubisoft starts making games for switch, there may be other 3rd parties thinking about it also. The more AAA devs will come down off the fense to make games for it.

    I don’t really understand why it’s selling so well, but Ubisoft continuing support can only help.

    1. I’d say that this time around the 1st party titles along with the system are compelling enough for people to buy into the concept of switch while Wii U tanked in those areas. It’s gonna be an interesting ride form this point on.

  2. I hope it’s Ghost Recon Wildlands because that game was kind of boring but a portable version of the game would make it way more interesting and the fact that Mario + Rabbids looks so amazing and it’s running the same engine, I doubt they’ll need much downgrading.

  3. I’m still puzzled that out of all the companies,ubisoft would collab with nintendo this time around. I’m guessing with their current situation and the sells of the system,it would only be appropriate.

    1. I still for the life of me don’t understand the hate leveled against Zombi U. When it finally released on other platforms, it showed you how well integrated the game was with the Wii U and how sh** it was on other platforms. It was almost like a VR game before VR games were a thing. I still love it and I would be very happy to see a more polished sequel.

    1. Ubi was one of the strongest third-party supporters of the Wii U to its dying days. They totally screwed the pooch with Rayman, but they certainly were no EA. With the smash-hit status of the Switch. I see no reason why Ubi won’t go whole-hog onto the Switch. Head-first without a net.

  4. Ridley X3 {Jaded Ninty fan. Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4. Awaiting Greatness on Nintendo Switch; just need cloud storage, add external HDD support, & to eliminate the need for that stupid Nintendo Switch Online App on smartphones.}

    Make Prince of Persia exclusive to Nintendo consoles from this point forward & I’ll gladly buy those games on Switch as they come. I got the Assassin’s Creed franchise as one of my PlayStation only franchises for my PS4, so I’d like it if Prince of Persia is exclusive to Nintendo systems. Otherwise, I might be tempted to get the PS4 version of a Prince of Persia game for the better performance, quality, & for the fact the PS4 has a better data storage option (external HDDs) than Switch (unless Switch also gets external HDD support at some point.)

    Beyond Good and Evil 2? Assassin’s Creed? Splinter Cell? That’s what I want, Ubisoft. Please deliver
