It’s Wednesday which means that it is time to see how the new releases have performed in Japan this week. There are a number of big new releases this week including Hey! Pikmin and also Ever Oasis, which have both performed well. Hey! Pikmin entered the charts at number two while Ever Oasis made its debut at number four. The New Nintendo 2DS XL was released too which saw the system become the top-selling hardware this week.

The seem to buy those things only because of color schemes sometimes.

Looks like the 3DS is at the last stop. Those aren’t good numbers at all for the games. Ever Oasis flopped hard, and it deserves it since it isn’t that good, while Pikmin was so much awaited and it just did 70.000 at launch? With that userbase? So less than a new IP with a small userbase like ARMS?
Nintendo just need to focus on the Switch and roll out the Nintendo Switch Pocket as early as possible. BNintendo 3DS isn’t anymore strong.
