It looks as though the Mega Man movie that was revealed to be in production two years ago is finally moving forward. It has reportedly now gone into the final stages of negotiations to write and direct, and will be produced by Chernin Entertainment.
Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, the directors of the Catfish film, will be heading up the project, alongside Heroes actor Masi Oka.
There’s still no official date of when the film will be released, but we will keep you updated with any further details as they come to light.
There are so many video game movies and shows coming out. I’m excited to see how they turn out, be it good or bad.
Videogames movies are good if they put the animated character and not some dude for doing the role of Megaman.
I have no hope for this. :/ But I’ll be happy if it turns out good..
I think if they don’t put real people on the movie and do only animated style like the intro of Megaman in smash 4 then probably the movie will be good. But we are not talking about Nintendo doing the movie so I cannot say what will come out.
Sigh… why is this a thing? Reboot mega man already
I want ||Lord Inafune|| work again on Megaman.
sorry… who?
Never heard of Lord Inafune? He created Megaman.
oh my bad… lol
Don’t worry.
Here is some information

It’s animated, right? They’re not making a live action Mega Man movie, surely.
Even if this doesn’t convince Capcom to make another proper Megaman game, I think it’s still worth watching. Sure video game movies are known for being bad, but as long as it’s not too PC, I might give it a chance.
If the movie is animated then there is a chance.

The Castlevania show on Netflix was pretty good. It far exceeded my expectations. I don’t delude myself into thinking that every video game project will be good now, but it’s heartening that they CAN be good.
We really need a good video game film. The old Super Mario movie still has a bad aftertaste after all these years haha!
How pathetic; when companies start making movies you know they can’t make a good game anymore.
Come on, Chernin, don’t mess this up!
