U.S: Here’s The NPD Sales Results For June 2017

It’s that time of the month again when we receive data from the NPD Group stating the amount of software sold in North America. The June NPD’s are here and the recently released ARMS for Nintendo Switch entered the charts at number five, which is rather impressive given its status as a new fighting IP. The game was followed by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at number six and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at seven.

June 2017:

  1. Tekken 7
  2. Injustice 2
  3. Grand Theft Auto V
  4. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
  5. Arms* – 256,000 physically plus digitally
  6. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild* – 145,000 physically plus digitally (keep in mind the chart is by revenue, and that the rankings exclude digital so presumably Mario Kart at 180K was on sale somewhere or had major digital sales)
  7. Mario Kart 8* – 180,000 physically plus digitally
  8. Overwatch**
  9. NBA 2K17
  10. Horizon Zero Dawn

  1. Oh look Horizon Many Dawn at 10th position. What’s wrong? Isn’t this game the game of the year where everyone freaking love it? Why isn’t at the first place?

Phah. When I heard people saying this game hasn’t any bug, it disgust me so much.

    1. I dunno, I’d say for a new IP exclusive to the PS4 that came out way back in February, it’s still kind of impressive that it’s even on this top 10 at all.

    2. DId you even play it? It’s truly an amazing game, I wouldn’t say GOTY, but still a very good game. Just because it rivals Zelda doesn’t mean you have to hate on it, don’t be a blind fanboy.

P.S: It came out in February, it’s great that a new IP is still in the top ten.

      1. I never played it but I saw it played by other people. And personally I don’t really like that game. It seems only a simulator for show to people how is strong the Decima engine.

  2. I just bought arms yesterday and I found it very funny and addictive.
I was very exeptical for this game since I played the demo before it released and I didn’t like it too much, but know that I have it I’m glad I bought it. 😘

  3. Horizon is a great game. Impressive it’s still on the list. I was hoping for a slightly larger splash from Arms. Looks like it’s over 400k in US and Japan. Probably over 700k WW by now. Not terrible — and pretty solid for a new fighter.

  4. Ridley X3 {R.I.P. Chester Bennington of Linkin' Park. Thank you for the awesome music. You will be missed. *cries*}

That GTA5 still selling & still in the top 10. Awesome!
