Apparently US Retailers Don’t Want To Stock Axiom Verge For Wii U

We already know that Axiom Verge is releasing on both the Switch and the Wii U but according to Tom Happ, a developer for the title, US retailers don’t want to stock the game. In the tweet I’ve included below, he mentions that Wii U owners will be able to get their hands on Axiom Verge a different way. We will have to wait and see but I have reached out to Happ for comment.

  1. The tweet says that the Wii U version is coming, when it was already released in 2016 on the eShop. Are they talking about a physical version?

  2. Because it’s a Wii U game. Nobody wants to get anything Wii U anymore. Every retailer I’ve been are trying to get rid of Wii and Wii U games and accessories. They’re all in clearance and nobody is buying them. Retailers need to make more room for the Switch and 3DS since they’re printing money.

Also, really bad move on them making a Wii U game.
