Rayman Legends Switch Vs Wii U Video Comparison

Earlier today, the Nintendo eShop unveiled a demo for Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, along with a release date for the title.

Direct-Feed Games has put together a video comparing the Wii U version of the demo to the Switch version. The video quality is almost identical, however in the comments section, Switch users have complained about audio issues when docked. You can check out the footage below:

It’s worth noting that this may not be the final version of the game, and issues present with audio will more than likely be ironed out before the full release.

Rayman Legends: Definitive edition will be released on both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U on September 12, 2017.

  1. “It’s worth noting that this may not be the final version of the game, and issues present with audio will more than likely be ironed out before the full release.”

Now remember this before making judgement

    1. The music level seemed out of sync to me. I played it tons of times on the Wii U version but on this one I had to deliberately break rhythm to not get killed at one point

    1. It’s the same demo; I guess the demo was quite some work as it’s a bit deeper and more polished than just the usual launchscreen, 1 level-thing so they probably use it as a standard demo for the game on any platform.

So yeah, I’d be pretty interested in what makes this game the definitive version. Maybe because it comes with a Switch exclusive Beyond Good & Evil 2 Demo packed in?

  2. The Treacherous Ubis are reaping what they sow. This former Wii U Exclusive that was delayed MONTHS to break a promise and cater to the Xbots and Sonyans is not worth the dirt on The Commander’s lower extremities.

    1. Remember that well. Read interviews of the development team behind the game, and they said it felt like they didn’t have the chance seen their own familiy while keeping the Wii U-deadline, and then just “We’re delaying it for multplat”.
You kinda didn’t want to buy the Wii U game because of Ubisoft, but then again think about the humans in the development team. They deserve the cash and recognizion for their hard work…. man I hate Noobisoft…

  3. I am actually pretty dissappointed. I played the Wii U version from Level 1 to the very end and was really looking forward to a new Rayman game on Switch now. But this here seems to just the same game like on the Wii U version :( I really, really hope they added some new musiv levels at least!
