When asked by a fan on Twitter, according to The Sims community manager, there are currently no plans for The Sims 4 on Nintendo Switch. The Sims 4 was recently confirmed for release on Xbox One and PS4. It’ll be interesting to see if EA decide to bring over the immensely popular franchise to Switch. If we hear any more on the matter we’ll be sure to let you know.

It took them this long to bring it to the other two, I’m not surprised.
Funny, because the game only requires 2GB of RAM (4GB for Recommended), Intel GMA 4500 to a GTX or ATI Radeon X1300 or Greater or GeForce 6600 or better(GTX 650 or Greater for Recommend), Duo Core CPU (Quad Core for Recommended) and 15GB of Storage Space.
The Nintendo Switch eats up all of the minimum specs and just about makes it to the Recommended specs, so I don’t see why they can’t port it to Switch, especially seeing how it’s already selling better than the Wii U.
EA has no plans to bring any real games to the Switch.
It’s EA, they hate Nintendo because reasons.
Ever since nintendo wouldn’t let them slap origin on the wii u,they’ve been all kinds of butthurt with nintendo.
Sounds like EA is just being very lazy.
Most likely because the game coding is a blob of a mess, at the time the game was out my PC was a monster that could run Witcher 2 at max easy, yet this game, this fucking game could not hit the 60FPS.
It’s no loss anyways,the game has went downhill and the stuff packs are too expensive.
Sims is similar to Bethesda’s games in that the vanilla gets pretty bland quick and needs the hefty pile of custom content on pc to keep fairly relevant between expansions.
Nintendo consoles is basically like if Disney made a DVD player that only plays their movies. Fine if you’re a fan of that sort of thing, but you have to get something else if you want something different.
I could really careless Nintendo has animal crossing to worry about and it’s pretty better then the sims always found the sims to be particularly a bit weird I love the series but animal crossing takes the cakes
A perfect analogy. For most people who aren’t big Nintendo fans there’s only like 2-3 games they might like for the console.
Actually, I don’t see the switch being a good fit for this game.
I don’t see people going out to buy Sims on the Switch.
Also, I think, Like Capcom, EA are judging Switch supports on the performance of the FIFA game. If it does well, we’ll be seeing more EA Sports games.. And maybe Need for Speed.. . But I also don’t see Battlefield, Battlefront, and Anthem style games making it to the Switch either.

Also, EA Confirmed that Frostbite Engine CAN run on the Nintendo Switch…. just saying.
I’m getting tired of all the developers ignoring the Switch. This game would sell ten fold better on this platform.

While the PC version is probably the best way to play this, the Switch is the only logical way to bring this game to consoles. Who the heck would buy this on the PS4?! Seriously??
Get used to it, devs have been ignoring Nintendo for more than a decade.
I never played The Sims so basically I don’t care about this game.
I want to thanks the guys who explained to me which Shantae I have to play. I decided to buy the original one on the Virtual console on the N3DS. I played for almost 3 hours that game and I died 10 times, but it’s really a good game Shantae and probably I will buy the other games too sometimes.
For now I want to play the first one and finish it. Thank you again.
It’s cool to see it finally coming to consoles, I guess. But, I pretty much expect it to be different as usual. Sims games always need to change something around to work on consoles. Not to mention, I don’t think they even really get the expansions. I’m likely just gonna stick with the PC version. Still a shame Switch is missing out. But, that’s not surprising.
