Japan: Dragon Quest XI Sells Over Two Million Copies During First Weekend

Dragon Quest is always a series that does phenomenally well in Japan and the latest entry in the series is no exception. Dragon Quest XI went on sale at the weekend in Japan on Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4 and has managed to sell an impressive two million units during its launch weekend. If you’re interested here’s a breakdown of figures:

  • 3DS: 1.13 million
  • PS4: 950k

  1. Does anyone think putting 3DS ports on Switch is a bad thing ? will it harm their sales. Just makes sense to me. I mean at least Dragon Quest deluxe it.
    Nintendo have got great momentum at the moment. Got to make the most of it

    Of course the 3DS version does better than the PS4 version.
