  1. Wait, let me get this straight- to get certain new items, you have to first find an article on it on the Switch News Channel, open it, and then launch BotW from that article?

    That… is a bizarre way to acquire stuff in a game.

    1. No, they’re not new items.
      It’ll be more like survival tips in the news section going “Hey did you know you can make bonfires by striking flint next to a pile of wood?” – Then you hit the button launching Zelda, and you get an Axe, a drillbit, a pile of wood and a loose piece of flint.

      That kinda stuff. Like scanning amiibo.

      1. If you think about it it’s similar to how they threw stuff at us in Hyrule Warriors 3DS through SpotPass

  2. Hmm…..interesting update. I usually never notice anything with updates.
    I just completed the second Trial Of The Sword side quest, and MAN that was grueling. I kept wondering “when am I going to get to the final area?”. It started making me think of Pikmin 2, and all of those underground caves. Always wondering when I was going to reach the final floor.

  3. Ridley X3 {R.I.P. Chester Bennington of Linkin' Park. Thank you for the awesome music. You will be missed. *cries*}

    Can I get the Fierce Deity armor this way since Majora’s Mask Link amiibo is still sold out at Best Buy? No? Then this is useless.
