The road to the release of Metroid Samus Returns continues, and Nintendo has created an official website for the game. The website is now live, and it contains plenty of information on Planet SR388, the game’s setting, along with details on the amiibo that you can use with the game. However, the biggest news to come from the website is brand new gameplay footage We’ve included it down below, so feel free to check it out.
I’m so excited for this game. Not much longer until it releases!
Sure, I wish it was on Switch, but it doesn’t matter all that much.
One last hurrah for my 3DS.
Looks like a great last hurrah along with Pokémon.
I would of loved it on Switch, i hate 3ds lol but grr I bought the Samus one… Looks amazing… My first and last hurrah for new 3ds XL lol
3ds is better than the switch as the switch has no games 3ds has plenty.
There’s still plenty of 3ds games to come. The 3ds isn’t dead yet so don’t write it off.
I’m losing interest in the platform, that’s all. I just highly prefer the Switch at this point. I even skipped Fire Emblem Echoes despite being a huge FE fan. But there’s no way I’m skipping a 2D Metroid game.
This is going to be a long 3 weeks
}{ This version looks okay at best… AM2R really is the pinnacle of this game… }{
Absolute nonsense!
Don’t be a dumbass graphics whore!
Glory is within reach! You can practically taste it.
Just a little while more…
“This just in! Part of the site is off limits unless you have this shiny amiibo in your position! Too bad only 3 people will be able to actually get it!”
Indeed, but I’m still getting the game. Ninty needs to know THIS is what we want from Metroid- not a droning, unlikable version of Samus trapped in a god-awful story, not a group of Mega Blocks soldiers shooting at cartoon aliens while trudging through a series of hallways, THIS.
Don’t forget Samus getting captured & brainwashed, or whatever the fuck happened, into being a boss enemy in the game. *facepalms at the dumbfuck that thought that was a good idea, probably that fucker Tanabe*
I thought I’d stick to listing sins that weren’t spoiler territory, but in any case, you’re right.
That game was an abomination. Abominations don’t get the benefit of spoiler alerts.
Fair enough, friend.
Besides, if me spoiling it stops someone from buying the cursed game, that’s a win in my book.
I can’t wait for this game, my wife’s supposed to be getting me this on my birthday 19th. I know she’s Picking it up on 15th. NO WAY am I waitin 4 days to play this when I know it’s in the house!
I think The Commander just squee’d.
Map pinning looks very useful.
It’d be even more useful if it wasn’t fucking just 10 god damn pins at a time! BotW had the same damn issue. -.- I swear! Nintendo fucking LOVES this shitty ass limits!
these shitty ass limits!*
Damn I never knew. I thought it was like Xenoblade with unlimited pins.
