Fire Emblem fans will be happy to hear that Elise is now confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming Fire Emblem Warriors for the New Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the announcement Nintendo has released a trailer showcasing Elise and her abilities as well as a second trailer. You can view both, below.

I find it hard to accept that they’re choosing the 3 worst games in the series, and locking away awesome characters like Ike, Roy, Hector, Lyn… You know… all those who won the FE Ballot… even though they said they picked “fan favorites”…

You’re in your rights to have that opinion :) I wouldn’t call Shadow Dragon a modern title, but you probably didn’t mean that. Of course, those titles have value in them, because they’re freakin’ Fire Emblem. But in my opinion they left us old schools with SD, which could have had a better replacement. But I know I know. Marth have to be there.
Those kind of FE fans you’re talking about is acid in my opinion. It’s okey to have a favourite, but don’t judge others for theirs.

Actually no. When the trailer from gamescom showed only attack heroes everybody (also me) thinked that Elise won’t be in the game, but in the end we thinked wrong.
I’m happy to see Elise because I like her.
I thought that her position in the game was practically a given, and I don’t even like her character.
It’s a question of preference. The only problem is this. What characters from Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon will be putted in the game? I only see characters from the modern FE games.

It’s like they included Shadow Dragon as one of the 3 Fire Emblem games this will focus on just so they can have an excuse to add Marth & possibly Tiki to the game by themselves while the rest of the roster is Awakening (love that game) & Fates (fuck that game) characters. Should have just been honest with us & said the game’s roster will be mostly comprised of characters from Awakening & Fates with Marth & Tiki from the original Fire Emblem as guest stars of sorts.

Fire Emblem Warriors shouldn’t have focused on certain titles in the series & just been comprised of the most popular characters from the entire franchise. But nope. There is more money to be had to make the game focus on some of the most recent games with the most popular characters from the franchise being locked behind paid DLC.
