There Are Zelda: Breath Of The Wild & Mario-Themed Switch Controllers Coming

Two new special Nintendo Switch controllers are coming soon. Officially licensed by Nintendo, PowerA will be releasing controllers that are Mario and Zelda: Breath Of The Wild-themed for $29.99. The release date is set for October 23rd, but you can pre-order them on Amazon right now. The Zelda one can be found here, and the Mario one here. We’ve also included a small gallery of the controllers down below.

  1. They look pretty nice, and $30 is a much better price than $70 for a pro controller. Just hope the quality of the controller is good.

      1. THERE NOT GOOD CONTROLLERS THEN NO CONTROLER STUCK IN A 1996 CONCEPT IS A GOOD CONTROLLER IN 2017 WHO WOULD I USE A NON 3D MOUSE CAPABLE CONTROLER IN 2017

Oh, and also, this doesn’t have a Bluetooth radio, battery (it’s wired only, and can only be used with the USB ports on the Switch dock), HD Rumble support, a vibration motor of any kind actually, or motion control. In other words, any of the actual reasons why the real Pro Controller costs $70. It’s doubtful you could even use one of these to properly play Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey.

  2. When your console is so easily pulled off with a chord, wireless controllers are essential. That said somebody really needs to make cheap wireless Switch controllers for when you have friends over.
