Two new special Nintendo Switch controllers are coming soon. Officially licensed by Nintendo, PowerA will be releasing controllers that are Mario and Zelda: Breath Of The Wild-themed for $29.99. The release date is set for October 23rd, but you can pre-order them on Amazon right now. The Zelda one can be found here, and the Mario one here. We’ve also included a small gallery of the controllers down below.
They look pretty nice, and $30 is a much better price than $70 for a pro controller. Just hope the quality of the controller is good.
Their good controllers but lacks the Gyro Controls
and the battery. Which might be a good thing to some, but I think Gyro + a 50h battery + probably better built quality is worth some higher pricetag.
THERE NOT GOOD CONTROLLERS THEN NO CONTROLER STUCK IN A 1996 CONCEPT IS A GOOD CONTROLLER IN 2017 WHO WOULD I USE A NON 3D MOUSE CAPABLE CONTROLER IN 2017
It’s Power A. The quality is pretty much guaranteed to be crap.
Oh, and also, this doesn’t have a Bluetooth radio, battery (it’s wired only, and can only be used with the USB ports on the Switch dock), HD Rumble support, a vibration motor of any kind actually, or motion control. In other words, any of the actual reasons why the real Pro Controller costs $70. It’s doubtful you could even use one of these to properly play Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey.
I was almost actually interested in this.
wait this has no rumble and no wireless play?? huge bummer
When your console is so easily pulled off with a chord, wireless controllers are essential. That said somebody really needs to make cheap wireless Switch controllers for when you have friends over.

The Zelda one looks nice.
the mario themed one is a day 1 purchase for me.
not after i discovered these are WIRED only. is this 2017?
They are both nice, but I preffer much more the Link controller.
The Crest of Hyrule looks out of place. It’s not very Breath of the Wildish.
NO GYRO = 90S GARBAGE
